Art Technology Sculptris fish due 2/ 3

  1. Do now: Open pnatec.wordpress.com.  Find a fish online to use as a model.

    1. Find a picture of a fish to use as a guide. Open the fish on it’s own tab in the browser.
    2. Use the grab tool to pull out the head and back of the fish along the line. due 2/3

    1. Then use the grab tool tool to pull out the top and back fin.
    2. Use the grab tool to push the sides of the fish in in order to make the fish thinner or less round. Save due 2/3

    1. Use the grab tool to pull  out a few more fins as shown in the image we are using as a model. due 2/3

    1. Use the grab tool to pull out the eyes slightly. Then use the crease tool to create a small mouth at the front of the fish. Save again due 2/3

    1. In pixlr editor create an image that is 400 by 400.
    2. Add the shape brushes called circular.
    3. Paint the background red.
    4. Then choose one of the circular brushes and the white color.
    5. Click once on the image. Use free transform to expand the shape to fill the image.
    6. Save as a png to the texture folder that is in the Sculptris folder. You will find the sculptris folder inside the applications folder.
    7. In sculptris double click on the brush tool navigate to the texture folder and double click on the brush you created. Now click on your choice.
    8. Click on enable under the brush and select the draw tool.
    9. Now apply the brush to the fish. save again due 2/6

    1. Click on paint. Click on the color circles to choose a color.
    2. Apply paint as desired. Save again. due 2/6

    1. Use options to save images of the fish in different position to create an animation. Consider creating an animation where the fish appears to be swimming.
    2. Upload the animation into a gif maker. Create the gif and post the animated gif to your website.
    3. Explain in a few sentences how you created  your animation. due 2/6
